Org101: Create a Product Poster

Showcase your products in eye-catching designs and schedule on social media.

Images have higher reach and engagement than links do. And images which include design elements and information like discounts perform even better.

At Socioh, you can choose from 100s of professionally-designed templates to display your products. Your product will be auto-fitted into the template of your choice and the link will be included in your post caption. You can choose to share immediately or schedule your post for later.

Create Product Poster:

1. Click on ‘Designs’ in the left panel to see all available templates.

   What you need to know

   On some templates, you will see the words ‘7 sizes’. Click on this to view available size variations.

   All variations include the same design elements, but are suitable for products with different image dimensions. For instance, wide product photos are better suited to our horizontal variations while longer product photos will be fitted into our vertical variations.

   Once you select a variation, we will automatically fit a suitable product into the template. See playbook on Changing the Product to learn how to use a different product image.

   Templates which do not say ‘7 sizes’ are only available in the variation that is being displayed.

   Socioh Tip

   You will also see template designs available for:

   • Discounts – These include a discount in the graphic. Change the amount of the discount by clicking ‘Select’ and ‘Edit template’.
   • Mixed Bag – Ideal for announcements or greetings, these do not include an image of your products.
   • Reviews – Enter your best customer testimonials in these templates.
   • Occasion – Special themed templates are launched before every major retail event or holiday. If you have products that are suitable for Valentines Day or are running a BFCM sale, select the themed catalog for that occasion.

2. You will find an editable caption already written for all connected channels.

   Socioh Tip

   • Help buyers find your products by including a link to the product, collection or your entire shop. Click on the ‘link’ icon above the text box to see all options.
   • Include the name of your store or campaign by clicking on the ‘curly bracket’ icon above the text box. These tags will automatically be replaced by the correct values at the time of posting.
   • Add emoji to attract attention.

4. Click on the dropdown menu below the text box to select the page or board that you would like your post to appear on. All the pages that you manage will be available here.

5. Share your post immediately by clicking on the blue ‘Post Now’ button at the bottom right corner or schedule for later by clicking on the ‘Schedule Post’ link.

   Socioh Tip

   • Click on the ‘AM/PM’ button to alternate between them when scheduling the time for your post.

6. Once your poster has been shared, you will get a success message with a link to view the post directly on social media. Scheduled posts can be viewed in the ‘Calendar’ tab.
