Org105: Tag Products in your Poster

Add product tags to your posters in one click.

Products are automatically tagged to your poster once you upload them from your store. However, if you’d like to tag more or different products to your poster, you can do it in a few easy clicks.

Tagging a product:

1. Once your poster has been created, you’ll see a ‘Product Tagged’ option right below it. Click on that.

   What you need to know

   By default the number of products tagged in a poster depends on how many products are included in the product poster. Socioh offers single or dual product posters as well as product collages.

   Socioh Tip

   You can customize and tag as many products you want even if your poster shows only one product image. You can also make other edits to your poster. See our playbooks on Customizing your Product Poster and Changing Products.

2. This will open a pop-up that displays the details of the products tagged in your poster.

3. If you click on ‘Edit’ you will have the option to make changes to the name or link of the tagged product. You can also delete the existing tag by clicking on ‘Remove’.

   What you need to know

   • If you edit the product name, the change will reflect in the caption of your post. The product name on your store will remain unchanged.
   • If you change the URL link, please make sure it’s a valid link, otherwise it won’t redirect to the correct product page.

   Socioh Tip

   If your product name is long, we recommend you shorten it for the poster. Long product names often get cropped in the post caption and can result in customers losing interest in finding out more.

4. To tag a new product, click anywhere on the product image.

5. The right side of the screen will ask you to ‘Enter Product Details’. From the drop-down menu, select the product you would like to tag, then click on ‘Add Tag’.

6. Click ‘Done’ once you’ve got your tags right.

7. Make sure you have the Product List tag included in your post caption. Alternatively, you can also choose to have the Tagged Product Page option instead. The links to your tagged products will appear under these two.

   What you need to know

   • If you select Product List, all your tagged products and the product page links will be listed out in your post caption. You have the option to list out the price of each product here as well.
   • If you choose to have the Tagged Product Page in your caption, the replaceable link will take your customers to a middle page which will then have your tagged products and their links and details listed out.
