Edit your posters to suit your brand identity and aesthetic.
Although your Product Posters are pre-designed and automated, you retain complete control and can customize them to your requirements.
Customizing your poster:
-
Once your poster has been created, you’ll see an ‘Edit Template’ option right below it. Click on that.
Socioh Tip
You can also change your product and tag other products to your poster without going into the Designer. See our playbooks on changing product and tagging product.
-
This will open up the Designer and, in the left panel, you’ll see all 7 variations of the template you’re currently using. You can change templates by selecting the variation you want.
What you need to know
Most templates have 7 size variations. All variations include the same design elements, but are suitable for products with different image dimensions. For instance, wide product photos are better suited to our horizontal variations while longer product photos will be fitted into our vertical variations.
Socioh Tip
By default, Socioh picks out templates and products that are best suited to each other. It is recommended that you go with these suggestions for optimal results.
-
You have the option to change your product as well. When you click on the product image in your Poster, a panel will open up on the right side of your screen. You’ll see the option ‘Change’ under a thumbnail of the existing product. Select or upload a new product.
Socioh Tip
When you click to ‘Change’ product, you will be shown products from your store that are Best Fits for your template. These are products whose image dimensions will fit into the template of your choice without getting cropped or distorted. While you will also have the option to upload any product or image of your choice, it’s recommended that you choose product images most suited to the template. -
If you want to change the text on the template, select the text box and make edits. You will be able to change font, font size, formatting, positioning and more.
Socioh Tip
If selecting the text box doesn’t open up the fonts selection dropdown immediately, it means the text box has been grouped with another element. In such a case, you’ll see the option to ‘Ungroup’ on the right panel. Select that and continue editing. -
The My Brand tab on the left panel lets you add your logo to the template. You can also add your trademark colours to give your post a branded spin.
Socioh Tip
You can directly upload and configure a new logo from here as well. -
Select any element on the template to make edits to it. You can change background colour, add stickers and additional design element to give your posts that Photoshop-like finish.
